Make a donation

We greatly appreciate financial donations, but also value other types of help. Stationery (e.g. stamps, envelopes), large dog crates and especially bedding are all very useful.

Hounds 4 Homes Inc. is an all-volunteer organisation, so everything you give goes directly towards helping greyhounds.

Hounds 4 Homes Inc. is registered as a charitable entity under the Charities Act 2005. Registration number: CC29400. It has donee organisation status with the Inland Revenue Department. Individuals can claim a tax credit (formerly rebate) and Maori authorities and certain companies can claim a deduction for donations to Hounds 4 Homes.

If you have good people skills and some experience with greyhounds, please don’t hesitate to contact us. There are a variety of activities you might like to help us with.

Come to our Greyhound walks

We hold greyhound walks in Christchurch several times a year for people who adopted ex-racers to come and meet others who might be interested in adopting one, too. If you would like to come and meet these special dogs, please contact us to find out more - and do check out our Events page.
